On April 24 – 2016, FOCOCEV Highlands JSC held a groundbreaking ceremony to build processing plants in rural tapioca Dak Abandonment 11 Kon Ray district. The plant cassava starch processing by the FOCOCEV Company shares as investor Highland Kon Tum province People’s Committee approved under Decision No. 248, with a total area of 34.8 hectares in Dak village 11 Abandonment.
The plant has a design capacity of 40,000 tons / year, the total investment of more than 167 billion is designed with multiple work items, such as home working, guest houses, houses for the workers and employees, cottages factories and sewage treatment facilities. The operation duration of 50 years from the date of approval of investment.
When the project is put into operation to increase income for cassava growers in the area of the town of the town district and surrounding areas Kon Ray district to promote economic development – social Kon Ray district development period 2016-2020 and handicrafts associated with consumption of agricultural products for farmers; contributing to poverty reduction, stabilizing the life of local people, increasing the State budget revenue in the province.
