Established in 1988, after more than 20 years of construction and growth, HGPT Mechanical has grown steadily by being consistent with the Mechanical Engineering Industry. The Company focuses on manufacturing auxiliary mechanical equipment for production plants & constructions, such as Hydroelectric Plant, Industrial Plant, Water Plant, Steel Mill, Centrifugal Concrete Production Plant, Steel Structure works, Factory Construction works, etc.
From a small company, up to now, Ha Giang Phuoc Tuong has a respectable factory scale with more than 110 employees, annual sales of tens of billion.

In an effort to build a strong brand in Mechanical Industry – an industry considered extremely difficult in Vietnam, Ha Giang Phuoc Tuong Mechanical has regularly researched, created and applied advanced science and technology to create high-quality, high-tech products to develop the Company and contribute to the development of Danang mechanical engineering.

In particular, it is significant to be at the forefront of cleaner production deployment, contributing to reducing input costs, while protecting the environment and combating climate change.
In 2010, after participating in the Cleaner and Sustainable Production Unit of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Clean Production Team was established with the technical support and training of Vietnam Cleaner Production Centre.
The members of the Team consisted of representatives of the departments and led by Mr. Ha Duc Phuoc – Deputy Head of Production Management Department. The team’s mission is to collect data, together with experts to analyze the causes and provide solutions.

However, the Company has also made great efforts to overcome such as using wet sand blasting equipment (worth VND 700 millions/machine) instead of dry sand blasting (VND 200 millions/machine) to avoid sand dust. emit to the environment, accept lower surface grinding capacity, consume more electricity.Particularly, noise pollution directly affects labor productivity, health of workers, affects surrounding residential areas, so it is very interested in handling by the Company’s Board of Directors.
The company has organized many competitions and technical innovations, including the initiative to manufacture noise reduction devices for wet sandblasting machines. The company will continue to improve the production line to meet environmental conditions, save energy, raw materials, deploy investment in environmental treatment systems and improve production efficiency in the future.
Based on the clear results and benefits brought from the implementation of the Project, Mr. Ha Duc Hung – Director of Ha Giang Phuoc Tuong Mechanical JSC said that the company is setting goals in the near future, ensuring pollution indicators of water, exhaust gas and solid waste are within the permitted limits of Vietnamese standards; Building sedimentation and recirculation system to reuse waste water to the environment; Eliminate water leakage in the production process; Reduction of 5% of electricity consumption, 40-50% of coal consumption, reuse of waste sand and mud as standard sand in cement and concrete industry; Control the implementation of environmental pollution reduction measures, as well as evaluate the effectiveness of the implementation of environmental pollution reduction measures.
Mr. Hung also affirmed that the Company will endeavor to maintain the achieved results of the Project through the implementation of standardization of production cost norms, closely monitoring the production costs that must be in the permitted levels. At the same time, it is always necessary to update production costs such as fuel, electricity and water, identify abnormal expenses to find out the cause of the loss and immediately fix it.
To do that, the Company will organize training to raise awareness about clean production for workers; Guide workers with a high sense of operation, focusing on product quality and a sense of saving raw materials, electricity, etc. in production. Especially constantly monitoring and maintaining the results of cleaner production programs.

Mr. Tran Phuoc Cuong – Team Leader of Danang Industrial Promotion and Development Consultancy Centre assessed that Ha Giang Phuoc Tuong Mechanical JSC has implemented cleaner production very seriously, obtained very good results, The company has the capacity to self-implement cleaner production and build an environmental management system at the enterprise (5S process). This process has been applied at the Company since April 2010 and has brought efficiency in technical improvement, environmental improvement, labor safety, cleaner factories, quick workers. more and production efficiency is obvious.
Mr. Cuong also suggested that the Cleaner Production Component in Industry continue to provide financial support for the proposed solutions and urgently implement solutions to promote the implementation of cleaner production, highlighting the results of cleaner production at Ha Giang Phuoc Tuong Mechanical.
